Stance Sets - broken in 3.3?

Howdy Tankspotters,

Is anybody else experiencing problems with Stance Sets since 3.3?

When out of combat, I can switch to shield/1h when I go to def. stance, but when in combat, it doesn't seem to work.

The thread over at curse.com seems to say that the problem is that Blizz has disabled the function for these kinds of add-ons:

Can anybody make a suggestion for an alternative? I've been doing pvp on my warrior as Arms, and often stancedance for Spell Reflect or Shield Wall, and the mod was great.

Wouldn't it be better to create a macro to do this?

I googled something, try this.

/cast [stance:1/3]Defensive Stance
/equip [YOUR1HNAME]
/equip [YOURSHIELDNAME]

Don't forget the GCD consquences, if you are trying this in combat.

Cheers, I'll give this a shot. So would going back to battle stance be like:

/cast [stance:2]Battle Stance
/equip [YOUR2HNAME]

?

You know, I never noticed that it used extra GCDs when I was using the Stance Sets mod - I could usually swap stances and get off my reflect/s.wall immediately. Will swapping weapons use an extra GCD?
