As you all might know - Pillgrim's Bounty Event is currently in the game and since I ordered my guild to use opportunity to level up cooking fast I'm bringing same guide to Tankspot forums, I think it will have it's use.
* * * (copied from our guild forums) * * *
For those like me that thought its bit hard and confusing - it's not, in fact.
First move to Undercity (Stormwind for Alliance)
1-40
Learn Cooking from Profession master
Get Simple Flour, Midle Spices 80x
Craft all until you get Cooking skill 40 (use all of them you will need them later)
Dont vendor bread
40-100
Buy @ Vendor "Bountiful Cookbook" it contains 5 recepies
Buy Autumn herbs in same amount (80)
Start making Spice Bread Stuffing.
It's nice hit food, it's needed for one quest, turn it in to get ~7g reward and save food - it will work for you this week if you need hit.
100-160
You are still in Undercity/Stormwind.
Buy Pumpkins and Honey at same vendor 80x of each
Get your skills up, save some pumpkins
-> Travel to Orgrimar (Ironforge) move outside of town.
160-220
In front of Ogri/Ironforge you will have several turn in quests aswel, turn them and take next ones.
Buy Cranberies and Honey again... 80x of each
Craft craft craft... (or cook, cook, cook)
Mount up and move to other Cepelin (or go to Theramore) and travel to Thunderbluff/Darnasus
You will find new set of vendors...
This time you have to buy 3 ingredients
Herbs, Honey and Potatoes again 80x of each
Craft craft craft... until you pass 280 skill
SPECULATIVE (I haven't done it yet)
Move back to Undercity/Stormwind (best to hs first to Dalaran)
280+ Learn last recepie remaining
280-340
Go to Tirisifal/Elwyn and go hunt turkeys (not sure about location in Elwyn, but wowhead shows map in Tirisifal)
Wild Turkey - NPC - World of Warcraft
Do that until you have around 80 wild turkeys
Then just move back to Undercity/Stormwind and cook again... Should take you to ~350 (After that Wotlk recepies are pretty easy to skillup cooking)
Some informations:
• I wrote everywhere 80x because that's approximate amount of mats needed until recepie go gray... according to luck and rng it might go gray you before or later, don't take it granted.
• You don't need any outside recepie except starting one for bread.
Enjoy...

Fast track cooking
Works perfectly, did it from 0 to 300 in little more than 1 hour. Thank you for the tip
The turkey hunting takes a while though

There are trainers right in the festival areas.
The last turkey I had got me my 350th point. A happy coincidence.
It took me 91 Turkeys to get, I think it was from 282, to 350 right on the dot.
Edit: Oh and get yourself a tracker snack, one will do, for the turkeys. This will speed up collection tremendously.

Confirmed - more then 90 turkeys are needed to get to 355 when they go gray.

I found it easier to just skill up a bit more in darnassus(Alliance) to around 295, and then about 80 turkeys were enough to get me above 350. After getting to 350, it is also as mentioned above really easy to get a deacent cooking skill through the Northrend cooking recipies. With another hours work I was at 400.
