Taunt Clarification

For Warriors, it's widely accepted that as Taunt is in the physical school, it's hit percentage is 8%.
Is this correct?

Nope its a spell its miss is 17% there are plenty of threads on it.

Just remember that "physical school" doesn't imply physical over magic. There is Magic that is of the physical school, but still magic. Here is a thread here where I did some data collection on taunts:
