Hi all, hoping for some advice as to what anking weapon to get next. I'm currently using Peacekeeper blade, but I'd like to upgrade to something better.
Couple things to keep in mind though...Heroic ToC is not an option. Nor ICC 25. Thanks to my work schedule I pretty much can't get into any serious raid guilds, and my server doesn't pug that content.
I'm interested in either Quel'sarrar because they're both so highly rated here but...I take a nosedive on every stat when I get either one! damage is up, so yay for threat, but I lose on everything else. That is, until the proc comes into play. Is the proc's uptime THAT much?
I'm assuming if you are pugging Sorthalis isn't really an option since it is from an Ulduar hard mode. The Ardent Guard Ardent Guard - Item - World of Warcraft is a nice upgrade because of the extra armor, it drops off of Anub 10. Another upgrade around that of the Ardent Guard is the Bone Breaker Septum off of Marrowgar 10 Bonebreaker Scepter - Item - World of Warcraft.
BQS has an uptime of roughly 50%, there's a thread around here somewhere where I did a pretty in depth analysis of it. It's a very very good weapon and is second only to the H-245 Version of Ardent Guard. If you can PuG Ony25 on your server, I would highly recommend it.

It sounds like you don't get a lot of 'game' time. I'm certain most servers have Ulduar25 on farm. It shouldn't be too tough to get into a PUG as an off-tank.

That's not really an upgrade, if you gem Peacekeeper with a 30 stamina gem you get 22 more stamina, if you are looking for an avoidance set you could gem Peacekeeper with a hybrid avoidance gem and come out on top and expertise is always better than block.
Well other weapons have been suggested already. Titanguard, Falric's Wrist Chopper, and Ardent Guard. If you wanted, could try to get Rimefang's Claw from PoS Heroic.
Personally I would love Rimefangs Claw if it wheren from the fact that Im starting to get serious diminishing returns from dodge
No one on my server does Ulduar now. It's irrelevant content. ToC barely gets run, mostly from guilds trying to get their newer people geared.Originally Posted by Onetuth
Ardent Guard and Bonebrekaer seem my best bets, so I'm focuing on those. thanks for the advice. Rimefang is also an option, but it seems like more of a situational upgrade than an all-around one.
