    T9 vs. Triumph Off-set gear

    Hello all - wondering what the conventional wisdom is with regards to what pieces of t9 to pick up versus off-set pieces.

    Assumptions going in:
    * My guild runs a regular ToC25 each week and I have access to trophies and could conceivably get 5/5 t9.5 if so desiring.
    * I am not anticipating having any access to 9.75 gear (or other TotGC25 gear)
    * TotGC10 gear may be forthcoming in the next few weeks as our guild begins that content.

    My armory is in my character link but if you don't want to check it I'm currently wearing t9.5 hands and pants and 9.25 shoulders.

    My understanding is that:
    * Faceplate of the Honorbound > t9.5 helm
    * t9.5 hands > off-set
    * t9.5 pants > off-set
    * Chestplate of the Towering Monstrousity > t9.5 chest
    * t9.5 shoulders > Shoulderplates of the Enduring Order

    Ok, so I am aware that these are generalizations but I'm basically trying to figure out the best way to spend triumph emblems and trophies (for example, I won a roll on a trophy last night but passed it to a fellow guild-mate as I wasn't anticipating purchasing any more t9.5).

    Ok - thanks!

    Any other comments on gear are welcome but I posted this here as opposed to the armory section because I'm looking for more thoughts on specific gear comparisons rather than an evaluation of my gear.

    The helm is kind of a toss up. I personally prefer the helm but that's really just because I can get the best +12stam bonus with a red socket with T9 helm that results in slightly higher stam and greater flexibility when switching around gear. As I said about the helm in another thread I consider it kind of a toss up/personal perference. Honorbound probably better if you need the exp for something.

    Having said that, imo Helm of Wrath is better than both.

    T9.5 Pants are actually < Off-set pants unless you really need the hit, but... tanks don't really need hit at the moment.

    Correct on Chest and Shoulders

    Thank you, sir.

    I certainly don't need any extra hit at the moment so I'll keep an eye out for the off-set pants & Ony25 helm.

  4. Oh, you're correct on gloves too. forgot to mention that.

  5. Although this may be a bit of off-topic, the tanking helm that drops off Ony in 25 should be considered when choosing tanking helm imho.
