I'm an arms warrior dps for my off-spec. You can look at him at WoW Heroes - World of Warcraft PvE character info & ratings (Realm: Anvilmar, Name: Darkromana) I don't know whether I should keep Treads of Dismal Fortune - Item - World of Warcraft or get Plated Greaves of Providence - Item - World of Warcraft .
I've done some math, including losing the expertise and having to regem some of my stuff for the plated greaves, and adding in the additional AP I get from armored to the teeth, as well the base strength. It seems I might lose some AP and crit, but gain more strength, and armor penetration.
Honestly I don't know which one to go with. I wanna say the added strength will help out when I'm buffed with kings in raids (which is what I'm aiming for), but don't know if it's enough. Perhaps I should go look for Hemorrhaging Circle - Item - World of Warcraft
And as far as I know I haven't seen an Arms warrior DPS spreadsheet to help me, (maybe someone can point me to one? Preferrably one updated for patch 3.2).

landsoul's sheet i've found is kinda screwy when it come to certain things, mostly dealing with expertise as arms and some other random things. i wouldn't really use it.
the only thing you are going to lose is crit by switching from the leather boots to the plate ones. not a big deal imo. you can easily make up the expertise lose by taking 2 points out of imp. execute and putting them into weapon mastery. this drops your expertise cap to 18 instead of 26, and it really helps and certain points of gearing.
I've honestly found Rawr to be more accurate for warriors lately. Rawr - Home
That Rawr program is pretty accurate to the dps I do in raids with some buffs. I think I like the validity of it. I'd get VERY SLIGHTLY higher DPS if I switch to the plated greaves, according to Rawr.
