I am trying to gear my prot tank and it seems like i have hit a wall in gear. I feel that all the gear i can get from conquest badges is a down grade from what i have and tank points agrees. I would love others opinions as to what i should do or if i am incorrect in thinking that way about the conquest gear. please i need help

You logged out in your fury spec so until its fixed, no help exists for you alas.
If the conquest gear has a lot of stats you loose, then it is a downgrade. If it has one or two stats you lose (that you can pick up on another piece of conquest gear) then it is an upgrade. For example: To maintain stats (and upgrade), I had to replace the legs and belt at the same time, as well as the chest and helm (at the same time). This way I (overall) got an increase in stats instead of minor increase and MAJOR decrease to a necessary stat like hit/dodge/parry.
