That will depend entirely on your guild's strengths and weaknesses. For us it was better to leave Hodir up.
okay so we finally got 30 shards and are ready to get our healer his legendary mace. course that means we have to do 3 keeper yogg so been wondering what keeper to leave up.
we figure it will either be mimiron or hodir, to me hodir seems like the one to leave up but it was brought up that the iceblocks save lots of lives in the fight we killed him (only killed him once before coliseum came out).
so whats the best keeper to omit from the fight?

I agree with Satrina. Some of our players have poor reaction times and since very few of them have Tuskar's guild leadership saw value in the boost to movement speed over saving of lives. Movement speed helped navigate clouds and allowed people to be lax on prepositioning for portal phases.
Execute for show, tank for dough.
We tried Mimiron for a night and Hodir for a night. Hodir was the one that gave us the kill.
With Hodir the major mechanics of the fight remain unchanged - you just have make sure no-one dies. And in case they do well... that's what combat rezzes are for.
With Mimiron we struggled hard with P2 - the movement speed buff proved more valuable than it would initially appear.

We are recruiting! See here for more details.
leave hodir up.
you have to leave thorim down, as he kills watchers in phase 3
leave freya down so you can replenish sanity
and leave mimiron down because the run speed increase has a direct effect on weather or not you will be able to get yog into phase 3 in 2 brain phases
Hodir and Freya correct mistakes. Either being killed by something poor (Which shouldn't happen, there is very little RNG death issues and no unavoidable deaths) or by losing too much sanity (Proper brain room movements and avoiding excess sanity loss from Links, etc help this).
Thorim and Mimiron directly affect certain phases of the fight and change certain mechanics of them.
Cleaner play will reduce the need for either Hodir and Freya making them the easiest to do without; while Mimiron's debuff changes phase 2 a bit by affecting the rate of debuffs (And speed for dodging clouds and moving around in portals or dodging clouds), and Thorim drastically changes phase 3 by actually allowing Immortal Guardians to die.
yeah we tried an attempt leaving both hodir and mimiron up, got through phase 1 fine but in phase 2 determined that we need mimiron to get through the phase with as little trouble as possible.
We left Mimiron up, had a hunter go down in the portal and used aspect when the tentacles where down for the run to the brain -- Dealing with the increased casting speed really was not that hard
