Ok, so I am having a problem. It used to be threat, but now with better gear and all, I am having another issue....damage taken. I am a blood spec, and I know that we are highly gear dependent, but it doesn't seem right that I take as much damage as I do. I had a 8.5 geared druid having a rough time healing me, or so he said, even with defensive CD's. I would like some insight as to what I could try, and especially my build. I am not sure if I am using a good build for this, so if you have input to a different build or something let me know.

well the frist thing is, a druid is not the best Maintank Healer. Though they can do a lot with their hots, their greater healing spells like nourish and healing touch are way to weak to get a tank back on 100% if he takes some hits.
The other thing is, we got nerfed a lot the last patch and your gear is far from beeing great. The question is, what exactly did you tank? Most heroic 5 mans should be no problem, even with that gear. On 10- Man or even 25s it can be hard since you're wearing a lot of blues.
The combination of druids not being good MT healers and your gear should explain why you are not so satisfied with what happened.
If this happend in 5 man heroic though, he may not be the best druid, because you can clear those with an off specced warrior without problems.

Druids are great MT healers, great anything healers really. (What other class can comfortably solo heal Hodir hard mode and finish on 50% mana)

You're missing 4 enchants from your gear, every little bit helps. Blood is dependant on expertise a lot for threat, yet it also reduces parry-haste attacks which should cut down on some spike damage.
Level your JC, the gems are *incredible* for tanking. Get yourself Sigil of the Unfaltering Knight - Item - World of Warcraft, bought with badges. It will increase your overall avoidance and reduce incoming damage.

...or just get the far superior Sigil of Deflection since you can now buy it with badges after only a few heroic runs.

Don't tank anything past Nax in that gear and you won't have a problem. If your healers complain, remind them that when Wrath came out, people tanked Heroics in literally blues and greens with ~23k hp and ~20% avoidance. Healers have to heal, regardless of their gear level. For another reminder, a group of people can be in ilvl 272 gear and still wipe on Heigan if they suck. I have never been complained to by healers (after they got over the fact that healing a DK in Uld isn't the same as healing an overgeared Pally in Nax) and don't think I will be. Just use your self heals wisely after you establish enough threat.

No druid who so ever will be able to heal solo Hodir with 50% mana btw. And no they are not great MT healers, why that is I discribed on the other post. That they should be able to heal everything in any heroic should be logical.
