Thread: T9 Set bonuses

  1. T9 Set bonuses

    Death Knight T9 Tank 2P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Dark Command ability by 2 sec.
    Death Knight T9 Tank 4P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Unbreakable Armor, Vampiric Blood, and Boneshield abilities by 20 sec.

    Druid T9 Feral 2P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Growl ability by 2 sec and increases the duration of your Rake ability by 3 sec.
    Druid T9 Feral 4P Bonus -- Increases the damage reduction granted by Barkskin by 10% and increases the critical strike chance of Rip and Ferocious Bite by 5%.

    Paladin T9 Tank 2P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Righteous Defense ability by 2 sec.
    Paladin T9 Tank 4P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Divine Protection ability by 30 sec.

    Warrior T9 Tank 2P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Intervene ability by 5 sec.
    Warrior T9 Tank 4P Bonus -- Decreases the cooldown on your Shield Block ability by 20 sec.

  7. Its probbly supposed to be taunt, my guess because of the arena type fighting.

  8. If -37% all damage every 1 minute was overpowered for DKs, why is -30% all damage every 1 minute for the class with the highest armor and health OK? Druid has been cemented as the number one tank.

    The change to Paladin is also quite powerful. We now have -50% all damage every 1 minute and 30 seconds. To think, our T8 4p has 225 block value on it... now this? HAH!

    5 second cooldown reduction on intervene and 20 second on shield block??

    5 seconds cd reduction on intervene? seriously! who actually uses interve often enough while raiding properly xD

    If I need more taunts, I just put vigilance on another tank. Maybe that's why it's intervene?
    But at the same time, why would we need to get the bonuses before we even did this arena-style combat.

    My moneys on placeholders now. Or 3.2 boasts a totally new type of instance.
    I'd rather take the long way home.

    There have been times in high mobility fights that I find myself fighting against the cooldown. That said, I'm also a bit underwhelmed by this bonus. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

  15. Well, I'll take the 4set warrior bonus for sure, but the 2set? Hm. Think the T8 would probably be better than that.

    I'm guessing warrior 2p is really supposed to be 2 seconds off taunt like everyone else.

    We have an auto refresh taunt if you have someone to put it on that will be getting attacked that isn't a paladin who shuns your vigilance like aids.

    Honestly, the 4 piece just looks appealing in the "Now I'll be even more overpowered in heroics!" sense. I'm not going to sniff at it exactly, I'm sure that 50% up time on shield block will certainly increase our damage and threat output, and certainly mitigate that little bit more, but without any further changes to block it's not really something I can get hugely excited about.

    watch as the coliseum gets filled with mostly magic damage anyways, so warriors can't even use the t9 gear because we'll be forced to use t8 set bonuses.
