Could u provide a link to Horatio's UI? I will prob be able to help u, if u do.
Hello All-
I am a long time browser of Tankspot making my first post, so I would like to start by thanking all of you contributors for making this site one of the most useful resources I have found on the net to answer my tanking questions.
I am posting today with a question about interface add-ons, specifically one that will enable me, as raid leader, to view the health bars of my entire raid in one long list that replaces the default party memebrs part of the interface.
Looking at Horatio's setup, it seems that whatever he is using does exactly what I want - but I am unclear as to which add-on of his it is that accomplishes this. Also, I would like to keep my default character and target unit frames while implementing my "raid list." I just like the look, and like to make very incremental changes so as not to overwhelm myself, so I am also seeking advice as to how to implement whatever addon is reccomended in a manner that will allow for this.
Any responses/advice are greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
RM

Sure thing, and thanks! Horatio UI
I am also very interested to learn how to consolodate my action bars like he has, and move my chat/recount/omen windows down next to them along the bottom of the screen.
- EDIT: A guildy just helped me setup bartender and am pretty darn excited with the result. So my question is back to the original....how to setup the raid list/healthbars....
Again, any advice is greatly appreciated.

I think you could do that with Grid. It's highly customisable (but... not that easy to customise; it's UI isn't the most logical).
But I'm not sure if he's using another addon to achieve it more simply.
My blog on tanking, thinking and leadership at pwnwear.com.
With the chat windows, you can right click up the top left of it and there will be a tab there, you can select unlock, I suggest a mod called prat mod, which improves the chat a lot.
With the raid frames there is a few, I use x-perl Unit Frames, but you can use pitbull, grid, and others, a link to some is Addons - Unit Frames - Addons - Curse
but its curse, and curse is annoying.
Yes I would go with Grid its compact and highly customisable. Try watching this vid it helps alot when trying to understand Grid [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWKFm_z3o0s]YouTube - Configuring Grid[/ame]
