Hey guys wondering if anyone knows what this is....
Basicly i was tanking VOA on my dk las tnight in 25 man and this random healer was whispering me everythime Frostbite got to 4 stacks .....
just wondering what mod is doing this. would be hell handy for PUG grps that i do to minimise stupidity
I do have DBM and all my announces are turned on from wat i can see so i don't think it is that, unless there is some setting in dbm im unaware of.
the basic line read like this:
[dudewithmod] whispers: <other tanks name> is at 4 stacks taunt now !!!
i wish i had thought to take a screenie :P but i hope you get the gist

i might be wrong, but i think it was just a text macro. I just looked through the API, (to see if it was possible) and it looks like it is possible, but the addon user would have to set tank1 - tank2. just like they would with macros.

I'm pretty sure Big Wigs does that, though perhaps there's something else he's using. I know our Ret Pally always used Big Wigs and he whispered stuff to me all the time because of it.

thanks for the info ill try big wigs, but as far as a macro goes it does seem possible but then he would have to be keep track of both tanks debuffs at the same time. seems like a very thorough pally :P He was on the ball every time and reminding at 6 stacks as well cause we could obviously take more than just 4 :P but you could still be right.....

Im reasonably certain that the nameplate mod that Aliena uses in the RS how to video is tidy plates, I was just wondering which theme she is using to get those textures and effects?

If you're referring to Ruby Sanctum Halion, that is very certainly tidy plates. I don't see any special effects on them though. I also thought those were the default textures, but perhaps it's the Threat Plates plugin.

What I'd like to know is, what unitframes are those? I suspect it's Pitbull, but don't know for sure. The timers above his healthframe looks like classtimers, but they act dynamic (look at ignite, classtimers let it jump, this timer slides). Last addon I want to know, all the white text (stats) at the right of his minimap.

As you said, probably Pitbull, but I have unit frames very similar to his, and I use Stuf Unit Frames. Could also be a heavily modified TukUI.
