Teldrassil Protector vs Inf. Assault Blade

All,

just want some thoughts on tanking weapon. I am currently using the infantry assault blade (Infantry Assault Blade - Item - World of Warcraft) but have enough Champions Seal to get the Teldrassil Protector (Teldrassil Protector - Item - World of Warcraft). I am not running HC UP all the time to get he better sword from there so is it worth the investment to move up to the Axe from the Sword?
