Need some quality advise on duel specing

So i have been playing a prot tank for almost 10 years now between EQ and now wow. I have a few questions about duel specing. First i assume the way one should duel spec if they are a prot tank is to set up their primary spec just like they always have and then to set up their secondary spec full dps so they can get in a raid/group when their is already a tank there. Something like the 18/53/0 fury build i see around. Am i right here or should i be thinking of just changing my secondary a bit more to the dps side but staying mostly on the protection tree so im can still be affective as a tank if needed in a raid?

id say go dps cuz if they need a tank you will be in tank spec, no need for the second to be a copy(ish)

You could have your offspec be the UA revenge build if you have the gear for it.
