3.1 arms + choosing weapon
So from being Fury PvE pre 3.1, I went to arms now in 3.1. I tested my new specc today at an 80 heroic boss dummy, and did around 1800 dps. Since I did about 4,5k dps on patchwerk as fury, I started to wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Here is a link to my armory; http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sh...le&n=Rottegift
What kinda sucks, is that I've got NO axe for axe specializaton other than colossal skull-clad reaver, but a mace; inevitable defeat. I also have claymore of ancient power. What I wonder is, would it be better to use the skull clad reaver due to the 5%crit bonus from talent, or should I stay with inevitable defeat + mace specialization. Or should I maybe go with claymore + sword specialization? I have 3,5k ap in arms + 33%crit in battle stance. I'm also an orc which means I get 5 expertise skill from axes.
Last question, it would be nice of someone could list the proper rotation for arms in 3.1 + comment my specc or anything else you might see.
Rottegift, EU stormscale.
Good post. I would also like to hear some opinions on this.
I feel your pain!
I got nerfed big time going from fury to arms, but I have learned a few key things through trial and error. First get yourself to 280 hit, then start focusing on Armor Penetration. It starts to jump your DPS quickly. My hit is currently low, but you can check out my build:

I am having trouble seeing yours...I think the server may be down for EU.Wowarmory.
There really isn't a rotation, per say, its more of a priority. ALWAYS keep rend up, Bladestorm whenever off CD, when taste for blood or Sudden death Procs, drop Overpowers and Executes. Thrown in Mortal Strikes whenever you can, and if everything is on CD, drop a Slam.
I forgot...Go to Maxdps.com to get some gear ideas.
Takes more thought then a rotation, makes it much for fun then the BT-WW rinse and repeat.
