Mighty Rage Potion vs. Potion of Speed

Just as the title says, a few of my guild mates were discussing which of the 2 potions would be better for dps and prot warriors, Potion of Speed or Mighty Rage Potion. Now it had been a tossup but we feelt he mighty rage potion would be a better choice in most situations for warriors even today.

    Potion of Speed
Requires Level 70 Use: Increases haste rating by 500 for 15 sec. (1 Min Cooldown)

    Mighty Rage Potion
    Classes: Warrior
Requires Level 46 Use: Increases Rage by 45 to 75 and increases Strength by 60 for 20 sec. (1 Min Cooldown)

The improved haste is great and adds more white swings which = more rage and damage. On the other hand 45-75 rage and 120 ap/30block is more damage and more special moves at low or rage starved situations.

So if anyone can crunch these numbers and put it to the test we would love some help.

Well as fury i pop a speed pot in execute range. This means i have fast white swings constantly supplying me with rage while i dump it into executes. With a rage potion it would all be gone within the first execute.

I actually never knew about the strength boost from the rage pot until just now, but i'd say its still inferior to being able to execute from 70+ rage every GCD.
