Retaliation Macro

i am trying to go from def stance to battle cast retaliation

#showtooltip Retaliation
/cast [stance:1] Retaliation; Battle Stance


is this right? what is happening i have to hit it twice to get retaliation.

You can try /castsequence, but I don't think it would be any different because I believe stance changing results in a 1 sec GCD so it requires 2 clicks. Usually I would just spam the button until it worked just like all my other abilities lol.

As far as I know from playing my hunter in burning crusade the castwsequence requires multiple button pushes too. Now I'm a total noob when it comes to writing macros, but I just re-used the stance dance macro I had in burning crusade, to zip to battle stance, punch retaliation and charge:

/cast [nostance:1]Battle Stance;Retalliation
/cast [nostance:2] Defensive Stance
/cast Charge

It does require button pushes, but it does work.
