    Mik's scrolling combat text has an annoucer and you can even have it play a sound of your choosing when SnB procs, also I believe ghost pulse is another one.

    I like power auras: Power Auras Classic - Addons - Curse

    gives me a little visual animation thats quicker to notice than text. i also use power auras to show when my cd's are active (sw, last stand, trinkets)

    EventAlert : WoWInterface Downloads : Buff/Debuff/Spell Mods

    Event Alert, love this mod. Puts up an icon when SnB procs for you to use shield slam, also works with the revenge glyph for free heroic strikes. It's already configured once installed but you can change the icon size, location and opacity.

    GhostPulse works great, it pops up the icon of the ability when it comes off cooldown.
    The only thing better than being able to tank, is realizing that you no longer need to prove that you can.
