I saw these on MMO, i'm so thrilled we have good trinket upgrades and we don't have to rock crafted and heroic trinkets!
the proc effect on the generals heart makes it a pretty weak trinket overall IMO. The dodge rating on it is only about 2.72% before diminishing returns, making the passive dodge only slightly more than that of the valor medal. If you don't want to use 2 stam trinkets, you should stick with repelling charge.

Yeah, I'm sure I will pick both up for some type of gear set but I was really hoping to see more passive stats on the newer trinkets or atleast better procs. Procs like the Commendation of Kael'thas and stuff were pretty nice procs to have.
Heart of Iron is by far the winner here, and will go alongside most peoples' Monarch Crab. General's Heart, not so much.
No argument about Heart of Iron being the winner here, I can see it being Best in Slot for a very, very long time.
as i said elsewhere, assume a boss speed of 2 seconds, thats a ~1000 damage shield every 45 seconds (the most likely internal on something like that) against a single target
AOE implications are much higher than essence because it does not have a 4K cap like essence did, but again a lot depends on the internal
Yeah, General's Heart will be great for AoE tanking, at least.
Essence of Gossamer lost it's 4k cap on the current ptr build, well, at least the text was altered to say so.
