Hit capping? Important?

Hey all,
I'll keep it brief: A ton of hit gear has recently fallen into my lap (fortunately none of the pieces were too pointy), and, if the hit cap is really 8%, then I'm only 0.3% away. Here's my armory, if you think I'm over doing it, speak up: The World of Warcraft Armory

uhh, yes it's 8% if it says 7.7% then you are in fact 3% away. I don't exactly understand why this went into the Theory section.

Your swing damage won't miss... It's roughly 168 (damn I need to get my #'s correct) to not miss a Yellow attack

If you're swing damage is your highest damage hit capping may indeed be useful.
If it's not (like it should be, one of your lowest forms of outgoing damage) than making sure you're yellow attacks don't miss is the real priority, other than that, meh.
