Do you think the mount will still be available after 3.1? They may drop it like the ZA mount.
First, for those not raiding hardcore or incredibly unlucky:

So we have 3.5 hours to work on Sarth 3D tonight. We got pretty close last week but not quite there. I think we'll get it tonight. Anyhow, the actual drake mount has become a source of contention. We've decided to random roll amonst regular members which is more or less fair. DKP is out because some dumbasses will sandbag for it. Attendance....meh. Loot Council? Not for us.
Anyhow, the major discussion, with Ulduar now on the horizon, is what do we do with our raid schedule? We are a casual guild with a crap ton of members. We have a set, 25 man raid team. We raid 2 nights 25 man for 3.5 hours each. There are two schools of thought. Continue doing Sarth 3D until all 25 regulars have the mount. The other is to drop it and concentrate on Ulduar. I suggested dropping it and then coming back in some T8ish gear where we could destroy it and even swap in some alts for the badges/loot drops. This is thinking ahead some to be sure. We haven't even done it yet but I'm feeling pretty good about it for tonight. Curious how others are handling it though I imagine most will have alot more raid time to play with.
There have been probably half a dozen threads on Glyph of Shield Wall and it seems awfully powerful. After thinking about it a while, I've decided i don't like it on principle because it is such a radical change. On the other hand, its a way to encourage active mitigation, something a warrior needs to do in order to reduce their incoming damage, not stand there and take it or in worst case, blow oh shit buttons. I'm still on the fence about it, though its apparent that its rather powerful.
your hat may be nice, but I have the little white tank top that says Legendary right across my boobs. I win. (or more correctly, H wins)
Nah, they are droping the achievement mount instead
Can't see that axe staying off hand.
Yeah, I just noticed this on EJ forums. Not cool.

That's the first thing I thought as well. Why would anyone want an off-hand tank weapon? The only class that would use that would be deathknights, and they wouldn't take out the BS weapons because they didn't want every DK to use them and then put in an off-hand only tank axe that only DKs would get any benefit from using. Especially since it seems that the intention was that DKs were to tank with 2-handers, not dual-wield (not saying they can't, but that's the impression I got from everything they said).
