-Crystal Plated Vanguard AV/Block
-Chestplate of the Towering Monstrosity T/EH/AV - Seems to more armor and potential stam then the prior EH, more overall avoidance than the prior av option, and more expertise and ap (throught str and armor) than the prior chestpiece for threat.

-Pride of the Eredar T/AV
-Dawnbreaker Greaves AV/EH - straight line upgrade from Spiked Deathdealers.
-Legguards of Feverish Dedication T

-Satrina's Impeding Scarab EH

-Bracers of the Shieldmaiden T/AV/EH - basically Mimiron's Couplings 2.0 but with sexier now since it's expertise instead of hit and not so shabby since parry isn't such a redheader stepchild to dodge anymore.
-The Arbiter's Muse AV/EH - on the EH front less stam potential than Bronze Pendant but heaping gobs more armor

Halandir I saw you wrote that avoidance sets are useful on fast hitting bosses would an avoidance set also be useful on a slow hitting boss where healers have time to get heals on you or a boss that applies an avoidable debuff if they don't put out alot of spike or magic damage?
I've used avoidance leaning sets on Kologarn for example just because it helped avoid the overhead smash into crunch armor effect. Kolo doesn't hit very hard however though so it's not a risk.
First week of 3.2. we got this drop Plans: Breastplate of the White Knight - Item - World of Warcraft.
its seems to me pretty good for AV/EH. don't know how is this compared to with new tier sets, but im working on mats to have it crafted.
On second week.. i got this Forlorn Barrier - Item - World of Warcraft. pretty cool eh!!
hey, really great and so helpful thread.
I always find the best on this site and from the staff,
Thanks alot halandir, But i have a question.
Isn't Ancient Aligned Girdle a little better than Waistguard of Living Iron
for avoidance...i mean till they change the parry stat and so,
I've read this b4 they do. I'm making av. tank and need some advice plz.
Thanks so much.
The changes for dodge and parry are in 3.2 according to the patch notes.
yes, that's y i say it's better for pre ulduar as i think.
is there gonna come a new list like the first 1,
Well the man is most likely on his honeymoon now enjoying the company of his (i presume) lovely new bride on some remote loacation hopefully not thinking of wow, thank you for the list it has made alot for me being able to be grand on passing loot that dont rly fit into my sets since they wernt upgrades, just new, alot of upcoming tanks benefit from that...
I just recently began tanking, after doing a bit of gear collecting. I have a quick question regarding some Ulduar craftable gear.
Currently, I am using Inexonable Sabatons for my boots, and Shieldwarder Girdle for my belt. I have the mats to craft one of the two Ulduar pattern items: Spiked Deathdealers or Indestructible Plate Girdle. (Not sure how to post links on this site yet).
Which would be a bigger upgrade? I am going for Threat/EH in my gearing. Anything helps.
Thanks.
The boots would be a bigger upgrade, inexorable sabatons is not good for anything other than a block unhittable set.
But personally i would just get everything. For TPS set, you would use the shieldwarder girdle and greaves of the iron army, if you can't do 10man Mimiron HM, then get sabatons of endurance from Thaddius 25.
For EH, spiked deathdealers and ind plate girdle
Thanks for the reply. I got the boots and belt made for my EH set.
Can we get Wyrmguard Legplates in for the new unhittable set as well? There is a 70 shield block trinket from Shadow Labs - Figurine of the Colossus that some of us are using.
gah, stuck at 89% unhittable at best, and not picking up those sbr/sbv pieces from ulduar are kicking me in the face now on heroic Anub'arak -_-'
