Oh, and if you're including craftable trinkets from Professions:
Industrable Alchemists Stone
Sonic Booster
shard of contempt
Mirror of truth
Belgariad: EU : Lightnings Blade. Once a Tank. Always a Tank.
Rune of Repulsion is an inferior item. It's straight up worse than Valor Medal, which is extremely easy to get. Lavanthor's Talisman I'll add. (I use it in my block and threat sets)
In addition, the Alchemist's Stone has a case for being on the list, but the Sonic Booster does not pass the smell test.
Shard of Contempt I can see as having an extremely good cost-benefit ratio, and if you're really hurting for that expertise, it ought to be on your radar. Mirror of Truth is terrible for threat generation. It's on par with any of a dozen generic DPS trinkets.
Figurine - Ruby Hare will be potentially 122 stamina when the new gems come out, making it and Figurine - Monarch Crab the two best Effective Health trinkets... though there may be some better ones in Ulduar.

How does the sonic booster not pass the test?
I always wanted a Holy Pally Gnome never could talk Blizzard into it so now I have an Unholy DK Gnome guess its close enough.
Every trinket on the list is BIS for something. If you want stam, you go for the Gossamer and Crab. If you want "tankpoints," just a good mix of stam and avoidance, the Alchemist's Stone is best, especially if you flask up. If you need defense to reach the crit cap, Repelling is BIS. Defender's Code has the best dodge use combined with some EH; Valor Medal has the second best, but also has the best passive avoidance. Anvil provides the BIS crit-reduction in case you care very little about avoidance.
Sonic booster just sucks. A lonely 81 stam doesn't cut it.
