Are you using the stam/armor meta gem by any chance.
79 Protection Warrior and I'm confused -- I bought some daunting legplates to replace my sunguard legplates, and I noticed something odd: Even though the Daunting Legplates have 267 more armor that the Sunguard Legplates, when I equip them I end up somehow with 75 LESS armor. How is this possible?
The only thing I can think of is that some other stat on the sunguard legplates is somehow contributing to the AC I receive from them. They have parry, dodge, expertise on them.. Those don't contribute to AC do they?
It's not AGI because both legs have the same AGI enchant on them and are equal with respect to AGI.
I didn't see anything about my spec that could account for what I'm seeing. Any idea what might be going on?
Thanks.

Worlde - Prot Paladin
Darkworldie - Tank DW Frost DK
Uord - Prot Warrior
Huordie - Feral / Resto Druid
Not on either of the pants, but yes, on my Armored Titanium Goggles... 32 stam and 2% increased armor from items.
Wouldn't that affect each pant equally though?
Or does the fact that the Sunguards are Purple and the dauntings are blue mean they're affected differently. Is purple gear AC weighted more heavily?
Thanks.

No, just that your meta gem is probably not activated when you equip your Daunting pants. Check the gem requirements
