    Stam or dodge

I am new to tankspot so im not sure if i missed an area but i couldn't find what i was looking for, which is at what point do i start switching out stam for dodge and/or parry.
my stats are( all are unbuffed)
    27574 health
    18.97 dodge
    16.44 parry
    10.96 block

i have 3 24 stam gems that i could swap out for dodge/parry gems
any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

im just starting to tank naxx 10 man if that makes a difference.

    thx
one more question just did the 4 horseman 25 man and got broken promise what enchant is best for that

    < i would go avoidance

    I have,

    27.5k hp
    21.07 dodge
    17.27 parry
    20.74 block
    Def rating 548

To me the 27.5 k is good, with food, flask, lock, priest, and kings, u can be pushing around 35 - 36 k buff, which to me is good, I have seen some tanks stack stam, and lose avoidance, But truely when is enough enough. I still need a few items, like shoulder enchant and stuff, and working on BSing for the two extra socket. But is it truely a good thing to be. 30k + with no avoidance.

IMHO, untill you get higher gear levels, socket the color of the socket itself.
with higher gear levels you will see your gear have more and more avoidance on it, thats when socketing for avoidance becomes useless.

Step one: Get block capped aka dodge + parry + block + miss + 35% (for holy shield and boss miss chance) = 102.4%
Step two: Get enough health so you'll be able to survive anything, approx. 27k ish health unbuffed.

Addendum: Never EVER gem for parry. If you're going to gem for avoidance, gem def or dodge.

With the exception of sarth 3D, and maly 25, stam stacking is not nessisary for the current content. Gem for your avoidance, with def taking over dodge at around 25%, and making sure you don't skimp on the expertise/hit rating.

I'd disagree with the above and say that you should stack as much stam as you can. Reports from some of my Tankadin buddies is that being too avoidance heavy is leaving them oom a lot of the time on stuff they outgear. Besides, Glomgore is wrong, Patchwerk is still an stam / armor fight.

With good healers (good not overgeared) avoidance can be a lot better on patchwerk because the real effective health of your offtanks is in some way added up. he attacks the one with higher health + your "OT-health pool" gets more heal from aoe/multi-target heals...
