Titan Grip Tanking : Price to look awesome

All warriors want to look awesome, and wielding the biggest beatstick AND a shield is definitely lowering the pansy in the panzer factor.

The builds are not viable. But, how far from viable?
(yes, I am definitely bored in my workplace...)

The tradeoffs for speccing so deep into the Fury tree is quite huge. These vital talents becomes unavailable :

Shockwave Aoe Theat - Survival - Mobility
Sword & Board Threat & DPS
Warbringer Mobility - Rage
Damage Shield Aoe Threat - Aoe DPS
Vitality Survival - DPS & Threat - Some Survival
One-handed DPS & Threat
Gag Order Survival - DPS & Threat
Concussion Blow Survival - DPS & Threat
Last Stand Survival

How does the talents in Fury compensate?

Titan's Grip
The huge stam from 2handers are definitely welcome.
This also forces us to use bigger and slower weapons with no secondary tanking stats.

Flurry
This talent gives us a good atk speed increase.

We have more DPS abilities to clog our GCDs as well, to offset the free shield slams.

Bloodthirst
The heals from this attack is nice but is not enough to compensate for the loss of Vitality. The slam procs and +crit% greatly boost personal and raid dps. However, This build does not allow us to have deep wounds and impale, making the crit a wee bit less attractive than if we could...

Intensify rage
This talent gives good rage buildup, and dps at a cost of inc dmg.

Enrage
We get this as a free gift in Def Tree for 2 points.

Imp Cleave
Imp Cleavage would rock better, imo. This entire tier is craptastic.
Beggars cant be choosers.

Commanding Presence
Same as above, nice but not worth the talent points

Unbridled Wrath
Extra rage, but we have already spent too much talents for rage...

In Summary, I found the tradeoff to be too great. It is only viable if you are overgeared. Then again, its blunt pencil as you would be tanking in Zerker Stance and wont even need a shield...

I can't say is not interesting, and the other day i saw a TG warrior using 2H mace with a shield, lol. But even overgeared you can't compete in aggro w a ret pally/frost mage/enh shaman w decent gear. I see them in my omen rise dangerous close to me in many fights, and thats draining aggro from an uber mage with vigilance. But it would be fun to test it.
