Hello everyone, good to see such a good recourse for Tans in WoW
Well im posting here coz ive recently hit 80 with my Paladin and knowing almost nothing about the class as i Refered-a-Friend and instance boosted my pala to 60 then power leveled it like crazy in one week to 80 you can pretty much see my knowledge of the class.
When i got to level 80 i specced Holy and been so for one week or so because my guild needed holy Palas, but im finding boring and to be honest im not liking it a bit, true im undergeared but nevertheless its not being a good experience and i play wow to have fun.
I have tanked before with the paladin Old kingdon and AN LOL at level 73 and so far thats my tanking experience, so im going to try tanking out, ive got the gear i want in mind thanks to tankspot and the awesome gear guides, and im gonna be defense capped and with about 22K HP unbuffed, so my real question here is i dont really know how to play a Pala tank when i did it in OK and AN i was always OOm coz i just spammed the abilities when they came of CD, so what i really need is like a spell rotation i should be using on Mobs and Bosses that keeps the aggro and doesnt get me OOM.
PS: For Too long didnt read people what im basically asking with this wall of text is.
So what i really need is like a spell rotation i should be using on Mobs and Bosses that keeps the aggro and doesnt get me OOM.
Thanks![]()

I've been tanking with Paladin since the L30 when i got holy shield.
I've tanked everything Tankable in the game.
You have to learn about the Class and Spell limitations.
And always keep Blessing of Sanctuary up
I would advice to go to

Spell Rotation Taken from wowhead forum (i would advise to read from start)
link - The 96969 Tanking Rotation - Paladin - Wowhead Forums
There's also Maintankadin :: Index for some TheoryCraftingPrimary tanking rotation abilities:

Consecration - 8 sec duration, can be glyphed to 10 secs
Hammer of the Righteous - 6 sec CD
Shield of Righteousness - 6 sec CD, available at level 75
Other abilities that may regularly enter a threat rotation:

Holy Wrath - 30 sec CD, now instant and stuns, affects only Undead and Demons
Maximizing your threat - the basic rotation
Before taking into account the longer cooldown abilities, we begin with a rotation that allows us to use each of the shorter cooldowns when they come available or as close as possible to this ideal. This is what is referred to as the 96969, based upon the cooldowns of your most frequently used abilities:
6 sec CD: HotR and ShoR
9 sec CD: Holy Shield, Judgement, Consecration (loses 1 tick)
