Has yet to drop yet for my guild, but when it does drop, would it benefit a rogue or melee dps more then a prot warrior? Was thinking of trying to get it since it would put me at Expertise cap, and allow me to free up a couple gems as well. However I don't want to be a prick and take it if the melee would benefit from it more. Thoughts?

It's not necessary as a prot warrior. Especially when it's an ilvl 226 trinket, and can possibly be exceptionally good for some melee dps (if they're able to drop enough expertise from gear and pick it up from the trinket). But, certainly once they all get it - it's a useful trinket for us for threat.
