Ok, a while back a friend showed me some site that allows you to test maxing your character's armor and spec/ect. It gets all the items from thottbot, so no shortage there; and you can uses it even if your not a tank -D. I still play around on it sometimes even since I quit WoW.

yeh this is a great site

i use to use it pre-wrath to figure out what gems to whore and what my wishlist was

Edit: and yet the whole "server down" issue still remains lol
