This guide is out of date and obsolete!

Reserved n' stuff.
Good guide. One little nitpick:
Actually, by my calculations even when below both of these caps, strength is still better (hit and expertise are both sitting at 0.908 SEP).If you are below these caps stacking Hit followed by Expertise will yield the most +DPS per stat.
Here's a list of my SEP values, based on my current armory (The World of Warcraft Armory)
For your reference, my unbuffed stats are:
2361AP
20.45% crit
238 hit
8/13 Expertise (I'm an orc, only using axe in MH)
88 haste rating
These SEPs are considering if I were in a 25man raid group with 25man buffs (yeah yeah, I know, unbuffed my stats are horrible, it doesn't matter here :-p)
Code:STR 1.0000 AGI 0.6814 Hit 0.9080 ArP 0.4691 2 AP 0.9091 Crit 0.8227 Haste 0.3873 ExP 0.9087
Maybe so, but even after reaching the hit cap, the expertise cap is a little more difficult to come by and it's still not as good as raw strength, point for point (although it is better than crit)
stupid question, but I need to clarify, the expertise cap is 148 expertise *rating* correct?
Also another question, how exactly is crit on diminishing returns even with deep wounds? Honest question here.

I'm looking forward to when you finish this guide since I just switched from Arms to TG a couple days ago after my first adventure into Naxx. Especially interested to see what glyphs you recomend for TG and how they differ to the ones used in Arms. I can only assume that we would keep the glyph of whirlwind.
Interesting Guide what covers all the basics. Pretty good :>
My actual problem is that I dont know whether I should stack more Crit or more AP.
Im Yellocapped at this moment with an unbuffed crit rating of 26,48% in berzerk stance and 3270AP.
My DPS is kinda weird, ranging from 2500-4000dps (2700 on patchwork, 3700 on the Violet Hold Doggie,4000dps on the magnataur in the Pinnacle) so I think that raising my Crit would benefit me the most right now cause sometimes Im kinda Crit starved and my Blood surge isnt proccing.
A thing that should be mentioned is the Titanium chain thingie (dont know what it is called in english) that Blacksmiths can build, it adds a very high amount of Hit and is way cheaper than the crit/hit enchant for weapons (mats cost ~1500g on my realm x,x), and the hit+ stacks when you put it on both weapons.
Also noteworthy is, that the Aldor Exalted Shoulder enchant is as good as the Hodirs enchant that you got for a honored reputation, and that the Cenarius Expedition Head enchant isnt half bad either if you dont have the time to farm reputation for those 2 factions or want a stat boost right now.
@Ronninn well you can keep your WW glyph, I also use the Battle Shout Glyph so I dont have to rebuff it all the time (it stacks with booming Voice),
the Heroic Strike Glyph is also pretty good, and the other ones are pretty much stuff that is only kinda usefull.
The Bloodthirst Glyph looks kinda good at the first look, but for my warrior it just heals for 100hp more and meh.. that isnt that good.
I also use the Berserkerthingie Glyph. the one that reduces the dmg you receive for the skill by 50%. thats ~600hp for me. not much but better than leaving the slot open.
I'm currently using Glyphs of Heroic Strike, Whirlwind, and Execution as my majors and Battle, Bloodrage, and Charge as minors.
This was my leveling set up I haven't really found anything Id want to replace yet, but I havent really looked into it.
Glyph of Bloodthirst is trash though and really the only other options are the Victory Rush glyphs that seem way too situational.

I'm checking out different fury builds and all have 2-3 points in Tactical Mastery? Why?
filler mostly.
On the guide, nice job. For consumables I'd list the Mammoth meals, 60 ap and they're easy as hell to farm. Glyphs would be Whirlwind / Heroic for majors, charge / bshout / whatever for minors.
A link to Landsoul's DPS spreadsheet and maybe a short explanation for the people not used to excel would work too. Coming along nicely otherwise.
Edit: Pretty much the best, coolest thing you can do in WoW is this: Use a spreadsheet to get your SEP values, download the mod Pawn, input your SEP values into the commands window and delete extra stuff like stam mana etc. Bam, you just had every gear choice made for you. I have one value for hit capped and one without, and i've never had a problem making gear decisions. It's really a great combo.
The girl who's hard to get.
So Main hand vs Off Hand. DPS vs DPS say Sword of Justice vs Titan Destroyer. Which would go in which hand? And why? Thanks.
When the DPS of your 2 weapons is the same you should always put the slower weapon into your main hand because it has more max. dmg.
In your case the titanium destroyer has a higer max. dmg rating so put it into your main hand~

Every tested case so far is confirming the 8%->13% hit caps instead of 9/14, make sure you update your hit rating section to reflect this.
This is the first I have heard of this (not that I doubt that it isn't true), but can you point to a source of testing (I assume EJ would have it)?Every tested case so far is confirming the 8%->13% hit caps instead of 9/14, make sure you update your hit rating section to reflect this.
Found a link to some discussion. Interesting:

Nuberino sighting. I still hate you. That is all![]()
You would hate me even more if I made you wear the pink tabbard of Sparkle Motion!

The beast is getting hungrier.
testing has shown it exists somewhere between 8-9% safer to go 9% than leave a small margin and allow people to say ZOMG LOOK I MISSED AT CAP.
