Bracers of Lost Sentiments

I picked these up tonight in Naxxramas 10 man and was thinking about using them for tanking:

Bracers of Lost Sentiments

My other tank bracers are those from Strat 5 man - Bindings of Dark Will.

Obviously less avoidance involved moving to the epic. More armor and health. I do like the hit and expertise though.

Is this a bad idea?

Gear yourself for the encounter.

If you need survivability, then gear for it.
If you don't, increasing DPS is fine.

I've been using these in a threat set with an expertise enchant on. Handy item.

Indeed. Slap an Expertise enchant on these and try to get the epic one from Old Kingdom and put a 12 defense on them for survival. Unless you have a better survival bracers.

Indeed im in same position as you, i got the strat 80man and these bracers. Looking at the hit and expertise on these babies they are pretty nice. I use these tanking regularly but I got 29.5k hp with 73 avoidance whilst wearing them, so im not gimping my tanking stats too much. Only problem is im sitting idle bang on 540 defence and if i get an upgrade with any less defence than my old slot, ill have to go back to the strat ones.
