So earlier today, we talked about Bear Rotation - Darksend called it a priority list, but i find calling it that cofusing and harder to follow.

So just to get it on - paper - somewhere:

For the lazy ones: NO imp. mangle several bloggers have done the math. Of Teeth and Claws: Should Improved Mangle be in a tanking spec?

And since 3.1 got a nice boost to FFF that'd be a part of our lovely "rotation"
FFF have a 6 second Rotation and Mangle the same.

X is representing first 5 Lacerates, There next some swipes(4).

So here goes:

FFF - Mangle - X - X - FFF
0 - 1.5 - 3.0 - 4.5 - 6.0

Or:

FFF - Mangle - Lacerate - Lacerate - FFF
Mangle - Lacerate (15 second duration start, so Lacerate have to be refreshed after 8-9 global cooldowns.) - Swipe - FFF
Mangle - Swipe - Swipe - FFF
Mangle -Swipe - Lacerate (Ideal) - FFF

This should be the out most benificial rotation. Maul is of cause pressed at all times. Don't know if anyone can use it, but i wouldn't call it a priority list.

1) without imp mangle your rotation is easier, you can literally macro it

/castsequence mangle, FF, lacerate, lacerate

or
/castsequence mangle, FF

and manually hit either lacerate or swipe depending on the duration of the dot.

but it is less threat than an imp mangle rotation under:

2) YES IMP MANGLE IS BAD and less threat than MSS. But what about if you have BOTH MSS and Imangle. This is why i call it a priority system

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft is the closest you can get. But I refuse to give up imp LOTP. My spec gives up IW to contain imp mangle and MSS. I have a Frost dk and a prot warrior in my raid so one of the 2 will always be up, i do not need IW.

Using my spec it is:
is mangle off CD -> mangle
does the lacerate dot have less than 3 seconds -> lacerate
is FFF off cooldown -> FFF
is there CC I do not want to break -> lacerate
is lacerate at a 5 stack with more than 3 seconds left -> if yes Swipe, if no lacerate

Furthermore, lacerate crits proc SD so skiping primal gore is a terrible idea.

btw: your spec does not have imp motw I will assume that is an oversight and you just wanted to get the resto tree done as fast as possible.

If not, imp MOTW is 2% stats > 2 points in furor even though the inconvience of having to shift 10 times pre-boss pull is noticble.

Here it exceeds my Math skills, or time I don't know, will the slower build up of Lacerate be worse Mitigationwise and Threatwise?.
