Hey guys I have been running around with the Vengeful gladiators plate chestpiece for a long time now and finally saw the Panzar'thar Brestplate drop off of prince tonight. Which of them do you guys think is better for tanking with the 3.0.2 changes. I welcome your thoughts.

I'd have to say it would depend on the rest of your gear. Are you at the defense cap? The SBV on panzar is really nice.
On the flip side you get more armor, probly more stam depending on your gemming and +hit, and the res helps with tanking also.
Honestly its a really close call dude, you could always use veng. for your threat/solo set and panzar for your mitigation set.

gemming both of them to colour (yellow: 5def/7stam, blue:15stam, red:5agi/7stam) both chests have the same amount of health.
at the first view, S3-chest grants you more threat due to AP.
in fact, you got more AP but less BV, and SS is still THAT threat-skill.
overall S3 got a bit more AC, panzar has more avoid and mitigation.
in terms of threat it depends on the rest of your gear.
for instances (especially bosses) I would prefer panzar. for soloing/pvp/grinding I would prefer S3.
yeah, it's the best choice, gem for 45 stamnia, I only use my Panzar when I need an avoidance boost.
