WotLK: Mellee Leather and Mail DPS List

I have been making a list of fairly easy to get pre-80 mellee DPS items that are either obtained through new Quest Rewards or Boss Drops. Note the level required is the first number. Some of the lower leveled items are better in dps then their higher level counterparts.

Um this might be useful to druids...but doesn't Armored to the Teeth basically make Mail and Leather obsolete to us Warriors?

Indeed and thats the idea. Blizz doens't want us or Death Knights (Maybe Pallies as well) using leather or mail anymore. I'm not 100% on Death Knights as I don't follow them, but for us warriors, yes, Armored to the Teeth is promoting using plate over lesser armor.

You still need to check the stats to see....leather itemization has ALWAYS been better than plate, and mail to a lesser degree....so even with the armed to the teeth influence some leather pieces might still outdo their plate counterparts. Definately use plate when you can, but don't grab blindly either.

I'm going out on a limb, but I believe Divine Strength for P******s will have the same effect on what items we grab.

I actually just made this list for my Enhancement Shaman. Just wanted to share what info I was collecting to maybe help anyone with a Enhc Shammy, Hunter, etc. Figure it couldn't hurt, and it is not intended to be perfect. Enjoy!
