well if its like any other forum it should be a "mark all topics read" on the bottom of the board if you go to "Forums" and then scroll down to the end
Is there a way to clear out the "new posts" search without actually having to enter each topic and then leave it? Sounds stupid, I know.. but I've got like ... 250 old posts that I havent' yet read, and the sheer volumn makes it hard to weed through the "actual" new posts and see the new info.

yeh but you have to go through each forum, there used to be a way to just mark all forums read from the root directory, but that's disappeared during one of our upgrades. I've talked to Cider about it, we'll see if I can get him to bring it back, probably just an oversight, no reason to have removed it really.
