    Now if only we can change pally taunt to a single target taunt. While its not a big deal if theres only one target on the person that your taunting from, it can make for some weird situations with multiple targets.

    I'm not exactly sure what i'll be doing with my pally atm. Leaning towards retribution tho.

    Not that I've seen. There's a glyph to change avenger's shield to single target.

    I do find it wierd that paladin is the only tank class with a single taunt effect. DKs, warriors and druids all have single target + aoe. You'd think paladins would have a second taunt.

  6. This is a big mistake. They should increase the cooldown on Righteous Defense, and add a regular single target taunt like every other tank has. Essentially do what they did with Death Grip.

    i dont even think the other classes AE taunts are true taunts. They make them attack you for the duration but i dont think they put you to top of agro table like Taunt does.

    But yea, every class should have a 20 yard single target true taunt, and a 3min CD pbAoE taunt.

    To bad no one griping on how that would make pally's wanted more since they can taunt more tartgets per minute or something like that verses <insert other tank here> using a panic'd voice.

    As a prot pally man after hitting RD, 15 seconds was a long time if something else went wrong. Shortening was nice, but still loving the 20yd range on War taunt too.

    Tank4Life who cares the class.

    And by that logic, i think everyclass should have a self buff of Sanctuary.

    Really, any more homogenization and paladins will be asking to be offspec dps ... oh wait.

  11. I would just be happy with a multiple target taunt that didn't lose to everyone else's taunt.

    It's different, because taunting is a fundamental mechanic of tanking; buffing sanctuary is not. It isn't a homogenization issue for all tanks to have high HP for example, because that is one of the requirements for tanking. As long as encounters are still designed around being able to taunt (the four horsemen for example), every tanking class needs a reliable single target taunt.

    Side note yes it is a bit wierd that we don't have 2 taunt functions

  14. For the record, DK's don't have an AOE taunt anymore either (the effect was removed from Blood Boil).

    I do think a precision taunt is probably more important than an AOE taunt though, particularly in a WotLK environment (where every class has significant AOE aggro gen).
