I KNEW it. we're gonna be going back to SWP for our tank gear, and we're going to wear it until Emerald Dream.
Edit: It doesn't even have as many gem slots as BC tank gear...![]()

Druid Tier 7 Feral Stats
Look of Tier 7
The changes to agility lead me to believe we are getting undercut atm, but with new talents like Mother Bear and Natural Reaction brings new hope to us bears.
First things first, people all over the druid forums are crying because there is no strength on the gear. We are not warrior tanks, we have many differences, with that said blizzard is obviously going to balance us on par with them, Paladins and Death Knights so people need to chill out and understand that this gear with its AP, Crit and still a TON of Agility will give us HUGE threat numbers.
Second, im a little skeptic on the low armor on this gear, i have no idea why Burning Crusades we would be at 36,000 armor and WotLK we are at around 24000, this here is going to hurt us BAD as a viable tank. I hope they are doing somthing to up our armor contribution on leather if they are not making TANK ONLY items.
Some Blue quotes:
Believe me, if we ever hit a brick wall where we just can't make druids work without parry, then guess what will happen. So we are still being looked at.Druids have talents like Thick Hide, Natural Reaction, Mother Bear and Survival of the Fittest in part to make up for the fact they aren't wearing plate, parrying or blocking. Is that enough mitigation to make them just as good end-game tanks as the other three tanking classes? We don't know yet. We haven't finished our testing and nobody on beta is in Naxx yet. If Bears are getting clobbered or their healers are running out of mana trying to keep them up, we'll fix it.
Third, on the dps side i cant really say much because the Kitty talents have not been put in yet do to the fact they have not been at end game for long. They do not know if feral druids are under powered yet for dps so they are sitting tight untill more end game players start to roll faces in Naxx.

Strictly speaking that isn't tier 7 as it drops in a 10 man, You should be comparing it to kara drops.
there is no tier gear in karazhan, BLASPHEMY! i knew that malorne set was fake!Strictly speaking that isn't tier 7 as it drops in a 10 man, You should be comparing it to kara drops.
They don't have set bonuses yet but this IS the tier 7 i assume.
See i could say your wrong but that fact is ITS 10 LEVELS HIGHER!!!! why the hell is it even comparable.
It's a simple thing to fix, really. Put increased armor on the druid specific sets.

Dygrav suggested that the 2 or 4 pc Tier bonus may be like our T4 4pc set bonus and provide the extra armor we need.
What's really interesting is that they're mimicing the S3/S4 armor line, replacing hit rating with... armor pen!?
So were not supposed to spec both Tank and DPS but the gear is dps with ALOT of stam and the sockets are ALL RED GEMS with STAM socket bouns? wtf!
They have said they want to allow rogues and ferals to share gear more easily and allow ferals to make it up with altered modifiers in thier talent specs.
Anyone else notice there was no set bonuses? O.o.
There likely won't be until they've had some good crash testing and decided what set bonuses would be "cool"
They're also probably just sticking random T1~6 set bonuses on them and seeing what kind of an impact they make.
Wait, what's the point of adding additional armor if then Druids would more armor of other tanks, and 12% raw reduction on top of that?
Worlde - Prot Paladin
Darkworldie - Tank DW Frost DK
Uord - Prot Warrior
Huordie - Feral / Resto Druid
To compensate for our lack of parry and block.
At the moment we get absolutely ~plastered~ by lv 73 mobs if we drop below 32K armor. (approx 71% damage reduc?) It's a damage reduction rounding threshhold and it absolutely HURTS to be on the wrong side of it. Maybe it won't be an issue with crushing blows gone, but I remain skeptical since at the moment if I do it, I die.
