Brutal Glad's Shieldwall

Been mostly pvping for the past few months, and I now have access to the Brutal Gladiator's Shieldwall. This seems to me to be a pretty big upgrade over the ZA shield; should I use it for tanking? I don't do 25man stuff (as prot).
