good luck with this one not sure if it can be answered.
I would believe that hit is would give you the most threat until you are at the cap 142.
Then SBV > Strength > Agility.
Why no mention of expertise? Its the best threat stat we got these days.
Which one of these produces the most threat for a tank when you're fully buffed in a perfect raid group?
- 1 Agility
- 1 Strenght
- 1 SBV (Shield Block Value)
- 1 Hitrating
- 1 Expertise
I'm basicly looking for some raw numbers, like for example: 1 agility = 0,2 threat etc etc.
EDIT: added expertise

Until you reach the hit cap I'd say :
hit > Expertise > SBV > STR > AGI
Once you reach the hit cap and while you are under 44 expertise (not sure about the number though, -6.5 % dodge)
Expertise > SBV > STR > AGI
And finally, if you manage to have enough gear to cap hit AND Expersite, threat shouldn't be an issue :-P
SBV > STR > AGI
I'm sorry here man, but you're way off.Until you reach teh hit ca I'd say :
hit > Expertise > SBV > STR > AGI
Once you reach the hit cap and while you are under 44 expertise (not sure about the number though)
Expertise > SBV > STR > AGI
If your expertise is less than 26 (enough to remove dodges from the hit table, 6.5% on bosses), then 1 expertise rating is exactly two times better than 1 hit rating, because it gives a reduction to both dodge and parry chances, and hit just reduces miss chances (and they scale at the same exact rate).
Code:if expertise is less than 26 { if hit is less than 142: { expertise > hit > sbv > str > agi } else { expertise > sbv > str > agi (hit=0) } } if expertise < 57 { if hit < 142 { expertise = hit > sbv > str > agi } else { expertise > sbv > str > agi } } if expertise > 57 { if hit < 142 { hit > sbv > str > agi } else { sbv > str > agi } }
nice =)
ebs, i love you haha.
Exp(until hard cap)>hit>BV>haste~crit>str>ap~agi
Sure, but your attack being parried means you take more damage. The role of a tank is to take less damage first, and then deal more threat second. The only time this isn't the case is when you outgear the encounter or you have more healers than you needSeeing my attack parried pisses me less as I get fed on rage faster (unless I get a parry gibbed)![]()
I disagree with exp > hit after soft cap. After soft cap it is entirely dependent on how much expertise you have. Expertise varies in effectiveness depending on how much rating you are short of another full point whereas hit rating will always give you the extra hit.
