    Working on a Tank Stat Spread Sheet...

    I'm trying to figure out a formula to calculate the equivalent of adding 10 stam for armor.

    In clearer words; I took my current stats, then added 10 stam to find out the increase in effective health. I'm trying to find out the equivalent effective health addition by adding armor through a formula.

    Example numbers:

    Current Stats:
    Health - 21256
    Armor - 15651
    Arm % - .5972
    Eff Health - 52767

    Adding 10 stam:
    21382
    Effective Health - 53080

    In order to match that upgrade you need .5995 armor reduction.

    So I'm trying to find a way to isolate the armor value using the armor reduction formula;

    Armor/(armor+10557.5)=Damage Reduction

    A/(A+B)=C

    And for some God forsaken reason I can't remember/figure out how to isolate the A. Been too long since Algebra 1.

    Any help?

    A/(A+B)=C
    A=C(A+B)
    A=AC+BC
    A-AC=BC

    A=?
    B=10557.5
    C=.5995

    A-A*.5995=10557.5*.5995
    .4005A=6329.2
    A=15803.3

    152 Armor increase

    Works =P

    Completely forgot to go back to the coeffs when trying to figure out the isolation.
