Public apology first before I send Xav a more private one.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this UI pack, nor indeed with the others that are more functional than aesthetically pleasing and of course the look of your UI is entirely subjective & personal. It's great that Blizzard has given us the flexibility to have such individually customised UIs and would be an awful shame if we couldn't.
People like Xav going out of thier way to post their UIs as packs for the less mod savvy amongst us are a great asset to the community & deserve gratitude and respect.
I broke the golden rule of forum posting lastnight i.e. never post when drunk, tired and annoyed about something else, you're almost always going to make an arse out of yourself... and sure enough I managed it!
So, my sincere apologies to everyone for messing up the thread with a retarded post.
I actually think this UI looks extremely sleek + sexy =]
gotta customise it a little bit but overall it's the first ui compilation that's got me away from mirage ui in a longggggggggg time!
kudos!
1 thing I noticed is that on certain parts of the screen there are bits where I can't click through... any ideas about this? it's a bit annoying when I'm trying to turn but can't![]()
Hm, I haven't experienced that. Where are the "spots"?
Xav I was wondering how you configured Ghost: Pulse to display the procs for sword and board? I messed around with it and couldnt get it to show up.
1. Go into "Frames" and create a new frame named "S&B"
2. In the settings for that frame, check "Player Buff Gains" and uncheck everything else.
3. Still in the settings for the frame, type "Sword and Board" into the whitelist field and press 'Enter'.
You can repeat that for every Pulse you want, if you want the pulses in different spots, like I have them. I have 3 different profiles due to the 3 different locations. If you want them all in the same spot, you can just make a generalized one and whitelist more than just the one ability.
Xav,
Any update on a Smarty for 3.0.x?

smarty's been working for weeks, it's updated in my compilation, and updated on dnt's site.
OK, thanks. Lost track of it with a mess of other things going on.

Is there something else I have to do to make s&b pop up when it procs?
Did as you wrote here didnt work. Checked everything and checked it out again(Player buff gains on ofc), didnt work. Reseted profile, and still didnt work
Any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance
-EDIT- Tried out using the wowinterface download instead of the curseclient one. Worked after deleting the cc one and putting the wowinterface one in my folder instead![]()

Ive been insanely bored with WoW lately and stumbled apon you UI so i decided to give my UI and overhaul and i have to say im liking what you've done everything worked great i especially like the S&B pop up nice little extra feature (I just changed my buff bar to SBF i prefer it more .... Sry >.>) Other then that this is a great UI Compilation Much Thanks Xav.
The answer is user error
Xav,
Great UI. I have managed to install it but have a couple of questions.
On the side of your player frame is a bartender bar that only shows up when you mouse over it? How do you do this as I don't see anything in bartender which allows for this? Also, what buttons are in your version as none of your screen shots show it?
Any chance you could provide your keybindings? I would love to see how you have those setup.
To have a bar only show up when you mouse over the area, enable "Fade Out" checkbox in the General Settings of the bar. Then, below that, you can modify the transparency of it when it's not moused over (if you don't want it to completely go away), and the speed at which it fades in/out with the other slider.
Oops. As for what I have in it, it's miscellaneous stuff. First Aid, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking, and Cooking.
As for my keybinds, this is what I use
1 Taunt
2 Devastate
3 Heroic Strike
4 Shield Slam
5 Shield Block
6 Revenge
7 Shockwave
R Demoralizing Shout / Piercing Howl
F Thunderclap / Hamstring
Z Shield Bash+Charge macro
C Cleave
Shift-1 AOE Taunt
Shift-3 Demoralizing Shout
Shift-4 Battle Shout
Cntrl-4 Commanding Shout
Shift-F Mocking Blow
Cntrl-F Concussion Blow
G Bandage
Shift-G Last Stand
Cntrl-G Trinkets
Shift-Z Human Racial
` (tilde key) Berserker Rage
F1 Battle
F2 Defensive
F3 Berserker
F4 Disarm
H Target self
Shift-H Intimidating Shout
T Attack
X Marking program (BaudMark)
V Assist

is there any way with sraid to make the mana bars more consistant
sometimes they are perfect but then the bar next to it will be 1/2 the height
on that same note is there a GUI for sraid positioning? if group 2 is 1/2 a pixel higher than group 1 and 3 it drives me nuts being able to type in x: -1000 is so much easier then overlaying the groups and hoping your hand is steady enough to not move the frame up or down while moving it sideways.
You can edit the positioning in the LUA, but I generally do it by hand. Yeah, it's really really bad, I know, we've been suggesting it for years
As for the mana bar issue, I don't know what you mean, I don't think I have that...? Have a picture?
hrm, upon trying to reproduce it, it looks like it shrinks when someone is out of range (even with the range checker turned off)
that said the mana bars are still really small compared to the health bars is there any way to make them 50/50 in the height of the frame as opposed to the 80/20 they are now?
