So I know shield slam has an innate threat of 307

And at the start of the fight Devastate deals 180 + 301 + 50% weapon damage

I am using Mallet of the tides and have 275 Block Value

So my question is...

Will my devastate give me more threat at the beginning of the fight while stacking sunders rather than opening with a shield slam?

i don't know where you get 180 for devastate, i think satrina stated that it starts somewhere closer to 120 and scales up until you reach 5 devastates.

shield slam will still generate a higher threat for 1 shot, than 1 devastate, even if you can do 2 devastates with the same rage.

my bad i got the 180 bonus threat from devastates FAQ but thats with 5 sunders applied.
