    2.3 Talent Specs

Sorry if there is a thread already on this topic, I looked and couldn't find one. If there is then I apologize.

What are some talent builds you are looking at for 2.3 considering that Improved Sunder Armor will also apply to Devastate now, and the Devastate/SA seems to be quite nice in terms of threat? Sure, some of you may already have Improved Sunder Armor without 2.3 being out, but I would like to take a look at some of the talent specs you have for it.

I was thinking something like this...

    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LA0cZVZbEtoI0dcLst

I usually OT bosses, and I was wondering, going into The Eye/SSC, how important Improved Defensive Stance is? I would like to keep the reduced Heroic Strike and Devastate/Sunder Armor, and I also like that 16 rage right off the bat with Improved Bloodrage.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

My current talent spec was made with 2.3 in mind.

I've always had an 8/5/48 with no Imp. Sunder Armor, so I'm thinking I'd do
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LA0czZVZbEtoI0zcxst
to get a build that gets me significantly more rage, between maxed out Imp Sunder, Imp HS, and Anger Management.

I'm interested to see anger management in most of these builds. Never specced that high in arms before - worth it for MT'ing or is it more of an OT skill?

Trying to decide between imp heroic strike, anger management, tactical mastery and imp defensive stance atm.

    might look weird but...

    http://wowhead.com/?talent=LA0czhbZVZ0EtoIMkcxs

most bosses you will fight in SSC and beyond = are bleedable, threat over time is essential to maintaining 1000+ tps. Use the 5 or 7 rage to rend a boss, in a fight like morogrim that is going to be 5-8 minutes rend and a deep wounds tick will account for about 14% of your damage, and add about 40 tps to what your doing.

This spec does require hit gear. if your not at 5% dont even try it, you WILL have 2-3k shield slam crits depending on your block value, (im sitting at about 680 or so) you will have huge threat gen right of the back.

If you have the time and the gold try it. tell me what u think.
Best fight so far 4 minute Gruul maintaining 1500tps... no one was close on the threat meter.

Now for 2.3 i would recommend this spec improved meat shield.

heroic strike will no longer be your rage dump, devastate will, and the fact it adds additional threat based on sunders that are up and also applies them, it will basically be all we are spamming. Depending on your weapon speed and its damage it also appears that its better threat per rage then using shield slam in your rotation.
so looks like it will be for bosses,
Blood rage, devastate x 1, shield block, revenge devastate x4, shield block( 6 seconds worth of blocking = 4 devastates at 1.5seconds each. shield block revenge, devastate x4 shield block revenge.... and so on and so on...

And if u happen to have a client account on the ptr try this build its ridiculous that u can hold 1200 tps just spamming 1 button... i smell a nerf when they find it out.

    good luck.

Devastate isn't a rage dump really...you can spam it to your hearts delight and especially when its 9 rage, you won't see your rage bar down a whole lot.

I'm excited to see the threat pumped out by having 45ish Expertise Rating, and spamming HS and Devastate.

Rend is a waste of a GCD unless you're fighting a rogue. You will generate more threat using that GCD on any other threat skill.

Deep wounds has some potential because it's off the GCD. However, I just don't like the fact that a) our crit rate blows b) it's uncontrollable.

This will probably be my build come 2.3 :: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LA0czZVZbAtoIMzcxst
I'm gonna miss 2/5 Demo shout, but I hope the OT or the feral druid will pick it up instead.

    something alone these lines...looks interesting...

maybe gem for a bit of crit and stam, or agi and stam to bump those shield slams up for good tps.

pretty simple rotation then, SS, dev, dev, dev, dev, SS.

throw in HS in infin rage situations and you probably have some good threat going, and what you really have is very rage efficient threat.

Im itchy to try a spec like that one out, swapping around a few points in def maybe to max out the efficiency of the spec.

    OT build:

35/5/21 (and its pretty good for pvp too).

    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LA0cdAbox0dbZVZ0Etoh0z

This is for a build that can OT in raids, tank heroics, PvP, and do DPS, all fairly well.
