[H] Ysera-US PvE LF Warrior Tanks!

    Server:
    Ysera (PvE) - Transfer's Welcome

    Progression:
SSC: 5/6 (Phase 3 on Vashj)
TK: 1/4 (focused on Vashj, haven't attempted Al'ar or Solarian)

    Looking For More:
Recently, some of our oldest members have had to take a break from full time raiding (burnout and babies!), leaving us seeking a few new people to fill their slots. We are looking for people who can become “core” raiders, and are looking to raid consistently, four nights a week, and have the three attributes we require:
    - Great attitude / high consistency
    - Ability to pay attention / research fights
    - Excellent class/spec knowledge (passionate about the class/spec they play, not just looking to ‘fill a slot’ or ‘do what the guild needs’)

We specifically are looking for a Mage, Hunter and Defensive Warrior. But recruitment is open for all classes with the exception of Warlocks.

    About Us:
Ordo Exodus (http://ordoexodus.com) is a guild that has been around since a December, 2005 under the same leadership and control. With a focus on keeping quietly to ourselves, and causing absolutely no drama, we tend to focus on in-guild groups and shy away from forums and public interactions outside a quiet group of guild friends.
We started on Eonar as Ordo Sutekh, in order to avoid snipping players from other guilds; we created our own feeder guild Sutekh Orbitas. We progressed thru MC, and started BWL. Once the lag on Eonar got to be too much – we picked ourselves up and moved (hence, the new name, Ordo Exodus) … and start progressing again on Ysera. Before expansion, we got up to C’Thun (no kill) and started to make our way thru Naxx .
We attempt to keep on great terms with the guilds on our server (both ahead and behind us in progression) by avoiding any politics and drama. We have get togethers (in real life) at a gambling destination (Atlantic City or Vegas)… hopefully a once a year tradition.

    Our Focus:
People, then progression – we value individuals for who they are – and plan to keep the guild together for the foreseeable future. Our members play CS:S together, Warcraft 3, Diablo 2 – and many other games. If you are looking for a hardcore progression oriented guild – we probably are not a good fit for you. If you are looking for a home for the long term – with a focus on fun and people, we might just be the place.

    Leadership Style:
Ordo Exodus is a dictatorship, not because I am on a power-trip, but to avoid all politics and drama, in the end all decisions come down to one person. This does not mean that it is a “one man show” – raid leaders, class leaders and officers make most of the day to day decisions.

    Ranks:
Our ranks are very fluid – a very much “what have you done for us lately” setup, this is so we can at a glance see how our “core” group looks. Demotions and Promotions are commonplace.
    - Core Raider: Those who get invited first, those who raid 3+ nights every single week consistently, the core of our guild.
    - Understudy: Those looking to be core members, the first ones invited into raid when a core slot is open, the up and comers.
    - Reserve: Less consistent / not looking for a core slot. Good solid reserve player, when they are on, they do their job, if not on, life goes on.
    - Backup / Trail: Least likely to get called into a raid, very casual.
    - Social or Below: Guild friend / family / Retired members, no raiding.

    Schedule:
We are 4 day raiders (Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Thursday) and late night raiders (9PM EST). Go spend Friday and Sat with friends/family -- or if you are on -- run some 10 man or PvP. Tuesday, as patch day, scares us -- but you might find some 10 mans and pvp going on.

    Gear Requirements:
We don’t have any specific requirements, the person who reviews your armory and profile will be someone who knows your class and gearing needs – and will make a judgment call on the amount of effort you put into getting your items. Commitment to gearing yourself says a lot about your attitude and class knowledge.

    Spec Requirements:
As a guild, we are very open to experimentation, if you think you can make that Feral-Healing-Boomkin hybrid druid work, we might well give it a try, but if it doesn’t work out, we will let you know. We have active boomkins, enhancement shamans, elemental shamans and even *gasp* two pally tanks.

    Level Requirement:
    70

    Age Requirement:
18+ (or mature enough to fake it)

    Loot System:
EPGP is based on the concept of Effort Points and Gear Points. Effort Points quantify the effort each member put towards the (common) guild goals and Gear Points quantify what each member got back in return. Loot priority is computed as the quotient of the two; priority (PR) is equal to EP/GP.

Between equal attending members it is round robin, but it has a harsh penalty for missing raids due to decay. To learn more about it check out: epgp - Google Code -- two OE officers have joined the EPGP development team.

    Questions?
If you have an questions, please post them in response to this thread, and I will do my best to answer them promptly -- thanks for taking the time to read this post.

    FAQ:
If I wanted to talk to someone in person, who would I contact on Ysera?
    - Caoin or Silvos.

Bump for some good peeps. Sup Phro!

Interestingly enough, I joined Ordo Sutekh with my shaman (Brukmoon) on Eonar right before Meta took his leave.
