We are starting now to farm the mats for the shadow res pieces for this encounter then a doubt has assaulted us about what enchants should we use for these pieces.
Some argue that all pieces should be enchanted with stamina, others to use the regular enchants (spell damage for casters, heal for healers, AP/Str for melee, etc...).
What would you suggest?
In summary, TBC raiding is easy. 9/10 encounters can be summarized with 1 phrase. Stay out of the fucking fire. Panda Cub with a Gnome pet!
For the cleave offtanks stamina is obviously the way to go. The rest of the raid should most probably go for dmg/regen etc. enchants - the fight is really draining your healers due to the unavoidable raid damage. Once you are shadow resistance capped and you know how to move damage spikes should be rare if any so stamina will have lesser impact on your performance. Usually ppl die due to positioning/movement mistakes rather than lack of 500hp from gear.
Higfather Being better than all the rest doesn't mean that you are good enough!
Just echoing what Highfather said, unless your raiders have terribly low stam in their SR sets then tanks are probably the only ones that really need it.
As a side note, have your raiders find level 68-70 green helms "Of Shadow Protection" and put the +20 shadow resist enchant (I think it's from Lower City) on it. That'll let you skip one piece of crafted SR gear (probably the legs since they take the most hearts) at the start so you can get more people in full SR faster. Once you've got enough people with full SR you can go back and start making legs.
