Mid-Hi 60's Helm

I'm a 68 Prot Warrior prioritizing tanking gear. I've been trying to farm the helm off Shirrak in Crypts as it is quite an upgrade over what I have. The M/5 on it points to its being a Pally helm although there are no other pally stats on it. So it occured to me that there might be a comparable Warrior helm out there. It's not an instance drop as I have already checked for that. But I have no way of conveniently checking quest rewards to see.

My armory is Leytur on Dunemaul if anyone wants to see what I'm currently rolling with. Can't post link from work.

I'm far from an expert but it looks like these might be useful and an upgrade from what you currently have.

Myrmidon's Headdress from the quest "The Warlord's Hideout" in Zangarmarsh

or

Reinforced Heaume from the quest "Master Smith Rhonsus" in Netherstorm.

Unfortunately I can't check out the links right now. . . I did every quest in Zang though except one escort. Unless that one escort would have opened up a whole nother chain. . . I'll check when I get home. Thanks for the help.

Apprentice Andrethan in Kirin'Var Village wants you to kill the ghost of Rhonsus, the town's master blacksmith.

Thanks a bunch for posting all the stats and quest info! The SV one will have to wait a level and a half. I'll look into the Netherstorm quest. I'll have to run all the way up there first though. Haha.

[item]felsteel helm[/item] is a great piece that will last well into Kara. mats arent horrible for it, and it has 3 gem slots.

i believe all the felsteel items are instance drops. from what i remember that one is mana tombs, but check wowhead or thott for the exact location.

[item]Felsteel Helm[/item] and [item]Felsteel Gloves[/item] seem to be the more common patterns. I frequently see them on the AH for 20-30g, despite the mat cost. [item]Felsteel Leggings[/item] are somewhat less common, and I can sell them fairly regularly for 80-100g. Of course, this may just be my server, but check the AH for cheap Felsteel stuff, you can occasionally find it.
