Just found this gem of a website. All I know from tanking has pretty much come from wowforums and evil empire. We have mag on farm (when ppl remember how to click) and are now trying for VR, then hydros.

So I thought I'd start here, any recommendations for my gear and getting ready for the Eye?

Your gear is very similar to my own. Although I'm jealous of your shield... :-/ Everything looks good here though, imo.

Devastate is an amazing talent for one point, and Imp. sunder is overrated.

I'd also consider exchanging your pocketwatch for the autoblocker.

Autoblocker is for trash. Just logged out after a mag kill so pocketwatch is on.

As far as Devestate goes, I removed it from talents back when I made firegaurd. The one point was better spent on 3/3 t-clap, and I was actually getting less TPS using devestate than imp sunder. Now that my gear and weapon has been greatly upgraded, I s'pose I could try it again...but I still have my doubts with a fast 1.6speed weapon.
