Shield Enchants: 18 BV vs 18 Stamina!?

Gruul's shield is better for threat than nightbane, why not put the shield spike on it?

Because Shield Spike doesn't work for fights when you need to catch up on threat which is where having Gruul's Shield on would be most valuable.

Nightbane's Shield with a Spike really would just be my ideal 5 man shield since it'd make multi-target tanking easier while also having 155 block value.

I like Azure/Darkness with the SBV enchant on it... but only really using it when being the secondary aggro tank, or PVPing. Stacking a SBV set is never a bad idea. For MTing or 5mans I still go with Aldori with stam.

15 Block Rating is simply a poor choice. The only time I've seen it used in any competitive sense is when people were trying to hit the uncrushable without Shield Block cap easier.
