uhh, i think it's...

#show Shield Reflect
/cast [nostance:2] Defensive Stance
/equip [equipped:Two-Handed Swords] The Sun Eater

/cast [stance:2] Shield Reflect


That should work, put you into def stance, and equip the shield/weapon, you will however have to press it twice really fast to get the shield reflect up, but it should be efficient. If you want to to be battle stance just chance it to battle stance and stance:1

Oh and if you want to re-equip your weapon after the shield reflect i've found it more reliable to just drag your 2hander icon onto your bar and make it a hotkey, putting it into the macro can cause unwanted results. Namely that you can no longer keep SR up if you don't have a shield on, so if you activate SR and macro pulls out your 2hander, you'll cancel the SR duration.

When developing macros where do I find which abilities/spells share same CD (cooldown)? Unless someone will be so gracious as to supply it here in forum the exact imformation I need. Thanks.

uhh, for a warrior, every skill is on the same global cd. except for shield block, heroic strike, and stance dances as far as I know.

Stance dancing has it's own internal cd of 1.0 seconds.

shield block is 5 second cool down, 6 second duration, not tied to gcd.

heroic strike will just make your next white swing turn yellow + 196 damage, so no gcd associated either.

uhh for tied cd's

i think all of our 30 minute ones are tied together
pummel/shield bash are tied together as well.

I think that's basically it... everything else is independent.

Oh for some reason i think i read somewhere that revenge and overpower share a cd O_o.

You're mostly right. A recap:

All warrior abilities trigger the standard global cooldown except the following:

• Stance changing (they trigger a separate global cooldown between themselves)
• Shield Block does not trigger a global cooldown
• Bloodrage does not trigger a global cooldown
• Heroic Strike and Cleave affect your next auto-attack, so they do not trigger a global cooldown, either
• Spell Reflection does not trigger a global cooldown

A few abilities share cooldowns with one another, similar to the way potions share a common cooldown:

• Pummel/Shield Bash
• Retaliation/Shield Wall/Recklessness

You can just use the ? icon, this will show whatever the item is.
Delete the #show line, i use:

I’m trying to find a macro for stance dance that can’t be over clicked.
I’m not sure if stance can be changed once castsequence is started.

Please feel free to make them better. I once swore off macros, but I’ve found that I can get great benefits as long as they are me-proof, and not overly complex.

However, I'd like to have one that equips a one hander+shield and casts shield slam if I'm in battle or defensive or casts pummel if I'm in berserker.

guess I could just use a slot in berserker with pummel and do one of them basic ones

Ok trying to figure out how I can get the mouse over to work so that when i hold down the shift key and mouse over it will do a sheild slam when I hold down the crl key it will do a taunt this is what i came up with got the Shift for taunt working but can't get the crl Sheild Slam to work

Is there a way to constantly have the tab button target the NEAREST target without having to do something b4 hand ?

Ex : A mage sheeps or whatever and the sheep is a mile away , I'm tabbing and i target the sheep during my tab cycle . I don't want to lose 1/2 a second cycling unneccesarily.

Tab should target the nearest target in your frontal view. Not sure why it does that, I've experienced it myself too, I'll hope that Satrina or Mozman(where are j00000) has a better reply.

Does anyone know how to bind two stances to one key (berserker, battle stance) and then bind Defensive Stance to that same key+Shift? What i wanna do is equip my 2H to battle/berserker stance and when i press Shift+same key to switch me to defensive and equip sword and shield. I started playing with this macro below and its almost works but whenever i press Shift gives me a notice saying that ability isnt ready yet.

Hi everyone !

This is my first post here (but been reading for awhile )

I want to make a macro that will cancel a buff, use my trinket and cast shield slam.

If i got it right, would this work (am always in def stance with a shield)

Do i have to use the /stopcasting after the trinket ?
