Since the patch you don't block for as much as you used to, and if IRC a lot of those mobs will use a conc blow on you so you're not avoiding any damage during those times.

Honestly, put on more dps pieces. Not like you need to worry about being crit. When running heroics I find myself pretty much in dps gear.
